Autobiography

Matt J. Schramel

 

My formal education is a Bachelor of Science in E-Marketing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. I am also certified in web development and graphic design from the University of Missouri with advanced courses in every major related software application, including Flash, Dreamweaver and Photoshop.

I was owner and CEO of StarPixel Interactive, a company that specialized in e-marketing services and web site development. I managed SPI with several partners, a staff, successfully producing online marketing campaigns and web sites.

I oversaw the launch of a marketing campaign for Macy’s including creative, store imagery and model photography.

I have guided the transition of Racing Net Source, LLC from a start-up to a multi-million dollar online publishing company.

With my marketing and advertising efforts I have increased traffic for RNS’s online publications to over 1,000,000 unique monthly unique visitors using search engine and banner advertising, newsletter management and social media applications.

I am Google Adwords certified and I use Google Analytics to track and optimize my campaigns.

I started a new company division specializing in offering complete E-Marketing services to our advertising.

I am also Creative Director for RNS and I manage a staff of creative professionals including graphic designers, writers, copy editors, IT specialists and programmers.

Website of the year runner at the 2006 Dot Com Awards for the high performance automotive industry.

I’ve built a team including the Director of Advertising, other sales associates and myself to be streamlined and optimized with our marketing efforts. Over the past three years we’ve increased advertising revenue by over 200% each year.

I produced video graphics for the Department of Veterans Affairs: The New Warrior: Combat Stress and Wellness. This video was introduced by Senator John McCain, hosted by news anchor Tom Brokaw and presented to U. S. Congress.

I Created and launched a niche social networking site targeting over 2,000,000 users.  To grow this community, I developed a user relationship management application, and promoted viral marketing campaigns with contests and cash prizes.

I launched the online retail store, Costhouse.com with a 40% ROI utilizing CPC and affiliate marketing.

I designed and produced all of the U.S. National Guard American Drag Racing League’s marketing and creative for their main web site, “Guarding Our Youth” web site, their video web site, and countless other printed and online marketing related pieces. I was also Art Director for 22 issues of their printed magazine that I created.

Three partners and I began development of Part-TimeProfessor.com, an online community serving adjunct college teachers. My primary role was marketing strategy and web site design.

I am Director of Sales and Marketing for Video Game Collector Magazine. I also designed the layouts and produced the magazine.

I am working towards a Masters of Business Administration degree.
